By the hand of God

Humanity was formed

Then the man of God

Rebelled against His Word

So a curse from God

Was given to the land

But the hope of God

Was promised to the man

Christ, the Word of God

Through whom all things were made

He would condescend

The lost He came to save

Through one man we died

But through this man we live

Christ our only hope

Became our righteousness

Christ, the Son of God

Would hang upon the tree

For the sins of man

His blood would bring us peace

Christ would conquer death

By rising from the grave

What a debt, we owed

That Christ would fully pay

Glory to our God

From whom all blessings flow

We were dead in sin
