70 年代末成軍的 Social Distortion，早期受到 The Sex Pistols 及 The Rolling Stones 等英國龐克樂團影響，後期則轉玩藍調與 rockab illy 這種早期的搖滾。他們在 90 年代走上事業高峰，被 Epic 唱片簽約旗下，這張歌單就收錄了《Ball And Chain》及《Story of My Life 》等多首名作。Social Distortion 的主唱 Mike Ness 更表示，於 2016 年面世的專輯，會是第二張專輯《Somewhere Between Heaven and H ell》的延續版。
