以 Dan the Automator 之名行走音樂界的 Daniel Nakamura，是美國著名 hip hop 製作人。八十年代出道，但真正打出名堂的一仗，是 1996 年為 Kool Keith 製作專輯《Dr. Octagonecologyst》。之後與 Prince Paul 合作 Handsome Boy Modeling School 實驗企劃，製作歌曲諷刺物質主義的人生百態。
