九十年代冒起的 hip hop 組合 Diggin' in the Crates，是製作人 Diamond D 的得意傑作，推出過不少大熱專輯。Diamond D 本身風格獨特，喜愛在 hip hop 作品中混入騷靈爵士樂，中和前衛叛逆味道。曾與 Busta Rhymes 和 Mos Def 等知名 MC 合作，亦愛提拔後起新秀。
