I've seen a lighthouse in the night

I got caught in a tidal wave

I was struggling through the foam

Gotta find my way back home

I see ghosts in the mirror

I got lost in the water

I got sick of the moving coast

Gotta drop the anchor below

(Drop the anchor below)

We gotta swim up against the stream

Standing blind in a blurry dream

We throw the past in the river

Cause we won't last for long with a backpack full of stones

Ain't no mermaids nor illusions

It takes a while when you're moving slow

When the burden weighs you down

Gotta drop the anchor below

We gotta swim up against the stream

Standing blind in a blurry dream

We throw the past in the river

Cause we won't last for long with a backpack full of stones

We gotta swim up against the stream

Standing blind in a blurry dream

We throw the past in the river

Cause we won't last for long with a backpack full of stones

In the river, the river

In the river

In the river, the river

In the river, the river

In the river

In the river, the river

In the river

We gotta swim up against the stream

Standing blind in a blurry dream

We throw the past in the river

Cause we won't last for long with a backpack full of stones

We gotta swim up against the stream

Standing blind in a blurry dream

We throw the past in the river

Cause we won't last for long with a backpack full of stones
