As the sun comes

rising ‘bove the dark,

it’s dawn again.

As the wind

blows past the trees,

new seeds will spawn and spread.

I have been pushing stones

up a hill but now,

I have come to find the strength to mend.

Because I cannot walk up

greater heights

While holding grudges from the past.

Yes, I know that I’m meant for much more.

So I will now shed off this weight,

in lightness I shall fly and soar.

I am free!

My heart’s open,

arms held wide,

I’m grateful, I give thanks!

For the faults

that were done to me

have made me who I am.

will still believe in light,
