Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started singing when I was six years old. My Mom got me into traditional Indian arts as a kid, and from there I moved to learning more contemporary music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alex G, House of Sugar Mk.gee, A Museum Of Contradiction Weezer, Pinkerton Firstly, I'm a massive Weezer fan. I don't care if you make fun of me. Secondly, the two albums by Alex G and Mk.gee are some of the most creative projects I've ever heard in my entire life. Honorable mention: "hypochondriac" by brakence.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “everybody's fine but me” This song was originally a demo by another artist - bloody white - that I found on SoundCloud. I was so touched by it and I wanted to contribute. I reproduced it and finished the lyrics in my childhood bedroom during the pandemic.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There's so many! I opened for Alec Benjamin and Omar Apollo in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur before the pandemic. I got to write with super cool people when I visited Los Angeles for the first time. I signed to an indie label this year too.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I definitely want a song of mine to enter the Top 100, and maybe get nominated for a GRAMMY. I probably won't stop doing music until I reach that goal.
