Artist Biography
Bernardo Machus is a European studio musician and composer whose specialty is the bandoneon (or bandonion), a diatonic, free reed instrument similar to the concertina. Though the instrument was invented by a German musician named Heinrich Band, it's now most often associated with South American music, especially the Argentinean tango. Most of Machus' recordings, including 1992's Magic Bandoneon, are at least superficially in tango style. ~ Stewart Mason
