Artist Biography
Mexican actor and singer Christian Chávez first rose to prominence in the early 2000s as one of the young protagonists of the hit TV shows Clase 406 and Rebelde. Chávez was also a member of RBD, the teen-pop group derived from Rebelde that went on to achieve international stardom. Once RBD called it a day Chávez released his solo debut Almas transparentes (2010), but subsequently his career was hampered by a series of controversies and scandals. At any rate, Chávez soon managed to get back on track and kept working steadily on television and theater, landing leading roles in musicals such as Hoy no me puedo levantar and series such as Netflix's The House of Flowers. ~ Mariano Prunes
