Conexión Divina's Popular Music Videos
Artist Biography
L.A. trio Conexión Divina update Mexican sierreño music with their melancholy, pop-infused take and are notable as one of the few all-female groups in the traditionally male-dominated genre. The band formed on social media in 2021, initially trading covers and collaborating long-distance. Blowing up online, they decided they had something special and assembled in L.A. to try and make it. Signing with Sony in 2022, the group released their debut single, "Odio," a tale of unrequited love. That track, as well as further singles including "La Receta" and "Paso a Pasito," appeared on their debut album, Tres Mundos, released in 2023. That year, Conexión Divina were nominated for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys and performed at the ceremony in Seville, Spain.
