Artist Biography
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Our first show as a band happened in 2016 at Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Long Island, New York.
Since then, the venue felt like a home to us because there was a good amount of space on the stage and we drew terrific crowds towards the venue. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Dream Theater, A Dramatic Turn of Events
Symphony X, Iconoclast
TesseracT, Altered State
Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Tesseract albums have heavily influenced us because we are a progressive metal band.
We aren't as technical with time signatures as these bands are, but we set a similar tone to them, which makes our sound superior. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Break It Even More”
This song was actually named by the group on accident (as a joke).
It was meant to be a part of our concept album, Hill Valley 88, and it flows nicely.
However, the song idea worked when our former drummer broke his drumsticks during a practice. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
In 2019, we (Devoted Fusion) had the honor to open for a Grammy-nominated band called Saliva at Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Long Island, New York.
We are hoping that there will be more opportunities similar to this for us in the near future! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Currently, we acquired a new drummer that has over 14 years of drumming experience.
With his talent and availability, we are looking forward to playing more shows in Long Island (Brooklyn, Nassau, and Suffolk County) as well as releasing new music!
