With their bevy of festival anthems and crossover pop and Latin hits, Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are one of the EDM scene’s biggest breakout acts.
• The brothers reportedly began DJing in clubs when they were as young as 14. By 22, Dimitri had become a resident at the famed Ibiza clubs Space and Privilege.
• In 2009, the brothers released their first single, and in 2010, they wrote the official theme song for the Belgian mega-festival Tomorrowland. The duo remains a staple of the Tomorrowland experience.
• “Tremor,” a 2013 collaboration with Martin Garrix, became a textbook big room smash. It paved the way for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to work with artists like Ne-Yo, Hans Zimmer, and Paris Hilton.
• The duo formed a super trio with Steve Aoki in 2014 called 3 Are Legend. The group headlined festivals but didn’t release any official singles until 2019.
• As the EDM craze faded, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike found success as crossover artists. Their 2017 hit “Complicated” with Kiiara is their biggest to date; it charted around the world and went platinum in Belgium.
• A huge Marvel Comic fan, Dimitri Vegas voices Peter Parker in the Dutch-dubbed version of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
