Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my mom working on a project as a kid. For months she was driving to Buffalo, New York with me in tow, to record vocals and finish working on this project. I think that's when I knew I wanted to be involved in music. I saw the commitment.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Full Moon Mahogany Jones, Floating The Notorious B.I.G., Ready To Die the Remaster Ready to Die was the first rap album I bought with my own money. The bars, the cadence - it was epic and SO New York! Full Moon is one of the most solid projects I have heard from lyrics to mixing. Floating by Mahogany Jones is simply beautiful music
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. Mahogany Jones, Floating While I've been part of a lot of music from songwriting to production and both, Floating is a record that is sentimental because Mahogany Jones is my wife and we wrote that song together. That record is us and no matter how old it is, it reminds me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments of my career are numerous, but they all involve making music with my friends. There is something to be said about collaborating with people who love music as much as you do and whom you have solid friendships with.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've had placements with both artists and in sync. I've worked with top tier talent. I would say that seeing my music impact people's lives in new and creative ways is a bucket list item. In the meantime, I'll keep creating music.
