Artist Biography
Singer-songwriter Jack Garratt won the BRIT Awards’ Rising Star and BBC Sound of 2016 honors, joining Adele, Sam Smith, and Ellie Goulding as the only artists to receive both in the same year.
∙ Initially released on his Remnants - EP, 2015’s effortlessly funky “Worry” became his biggest hit, charting in multiple countries, including the US.
∙ After opening for Mumford & Sons at the 2015 Apple Music Festival in London, Garratt remixed the band’s single “Wona,” which featured Baaba Maal, The Very Best, and Beatenberg.
∙ In 2017, Katy Perry recorded his song “Power” for her chart-topping album Witness.
∙ Garratt worked with producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Taylor Swift) on his second album, Love, Death, and Dancing, which was released in 2020.
