Artist Biography
Based in Barcelona, Spain, internationally recognized house music DJ Juan Magán, a noted producer of club hits, originally worked on his own and with César del Rio and his brother Victor Magán, but achieved his greatest success in tandem with Marcos Rodriguez. Billing themselves as Magán & Rodriguez, in 2008 the production duo released the album Suave, which spawned the club smashes "Suck My" and "Bora Bora," respectively a Top Five and a Top 20 hit on the Spanish singles chart. Following his collaboration with Rodriguez, Magán had a Top Five hit the next year with "Verano Azul." A second solo production, "Mariah," was released as a single in 2009 on the We Love Asere! label and also became a hit, nearly reaching the Top 30. ~ Jason Birchmeier
