In 2004, Swaziland Member of Parliament Timothy Myeni founded Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors, whose soulful, loping gospel is influenced by the rumbling umbholoha vocal tradition. Since breaking up in 2010, the ensemble has staged periodic reunions.
