Neck Deep is a pop-punk band from Wales whose style has ranged from self-described “scrappy bits” to “if Nirvana met Oasis.”
∙ While on vacation in Florida in 2013, Neck Deep played a couple of sold-out shows whose fan-shot videos went viral, leading to their first record deal.
∙ They were named Best Live Band at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards.
∙ The group’s 2017 LP, The Peace and the Panic, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and topped the UK Independent Albums chart.
∙ “In Bloom,” a chunky power-pop single from The Peace and the Panic, won the 2018 Kerrang! Award for Best Song, and its video racked up more than 17 million views.
∙ Their cover of Ednaswap’s “Torn” was the lead single for the 2018 mental health and suicide prevention charity album Songs That Saved My Life.
