Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories of music is sitting in my grandparent's house, playing an old busted piano, and being mesmerized by the sounds it made. I would play around with the keys until I wrote melodies I liked, and then add the harmonies.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Homogenic Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope TLC, CrazySexyCool Björk's 'Homogenic' captivates with its ethereal soundscapes, Janet Jackson's 'The Velvet Rope' explores raw emotion, while TLC's 'CrazySexyCool' delivers irresistible R&B grooves, each album a masterpiece of its genre.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments so far in my career has been the reaction of my husband when he heard my first song mixed/mastered. I felt that he was truly proud of me and believed in my talent, abilities and saw my vision with me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My musical bucket list includes: winning a grammy award for album of the year, performing an MTV unplugged, being inducted into the songwriter's hall of fame, collaborating with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and of course meeting or working with Janet!
