Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember listening to the Beatles on TV. My child's mind was blown. Then I discovered Elvis Presley. I would try to comb my hair like him and sing like him. As a vocalist, he influenced me greatly.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, CSNY 1974 (Selections) [Live] Roy Orbison, 16 Biggest Hits: Roy Orbison Tom Waits, Anthology of Tom Waits I discovered CSNY just as I started High School. Their harmonies and songs were an essential part of my coming of age :-) The way later, I embraced the sounds of Roy Orbison. Lastly, Tom Waits as a writer I simply found outstanding and inspiring.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Central Park” I wrote this song because I love New York and I especially love Central Park. So the lyrics and melody are up and welcoming. Just the way a song about a place you love should be.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career came at a performance in front of a few hundred people during which I realized I could write and perform a great song.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Ha. Yes indeed. I want to play in small Jazz clubs around the world- preferably with a tight quartet- and share my amazing catalog of songs.
