Artist Biography
Inspirational gospel vocalist Tim "Bishop" Brown endured tragedy and lived to sing and preach about his newfound relationship with God. The West Coast minister's tragedy occurred in 1990 when he was severely stabbed and left to die. Because of a bleeding, punctured lung and bruised spinal cord, Brown could not walk or talk and looked death in the eye. It was then that God explained his will. Following his recovery, Brown embarked on his mission of music with the Miracle Mass Choir backing him. Together since 1994, they built up a following in California, performing at GMWA conventions and gospel concerts. In addition to live performances such as the one documented on the He's Done Enough live concert video, Brown recorded albums with the Miracle Mass Choir beginning with A Miracle, My Testimony (1995) on Born Again Records and Awesome God (1997) on Holy Roller Records. By the time Brown released his third album, He's Done Enough (2001), his following was so large the album impressively reached number 12 on Billboard's gospel chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
