Artist Biography
Indie pop band Tullycraft was formed in 1994 by singer/bassist Sean Tollefson and Jeff Fell, both former members of Crayon. The lineup was completed with guitarist Gary Miklusek, and they quickly notched an underground classic with "Pop Songs Your New Boyfriend Is Too Stupid to Know About." They issued Old Traditions, New Standards, in 1996; assorted small-scale releases preceded City of Subarus (1998). Tollefson, Fell, and Chris Munford (who joined in 1998) added guitarist Harold Hollingsworth and released Beat, Surf, Fun in 2002. After adding longtime collaborator Jenny Mears, the group recorded Disenchanted Hearts Unite (2005). They went on hiatus after Every Scene Needs a Center (2007) and returned with Lost in Light Rotation (2013). ~ Jason Ankeny
