Hard rock/alternative-metal favorites Fuel officially began in 1994, but it wasn't until four years later that the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-bred band broke big. The Epic Records debut Sunburn spawned four singles and went platinum, a sales feat that doubled on 2000's Something Like Human. Following chart-topping success, the lineup shuffled, but original singer Brett Scallions returned to the fold in 2010. Along the way, everyone's aggressive fingerprints rubbed off on Daughtry (who was once offered but respectfully declined the lead spot) and Shinedown, among others.
