Australian singer/songwriter Ben Lee entered the music industry when he was barely a teenager, playing in the rambunctious ‘90s punk band Noise Addict. When the critically acclaimed group split in 1995, Lee launched a solo career that combined the charmingly geeky proto-punk sound of Jonathan Richman with the catchy lo-fi indie vibe of bands like Sebadoh. As his career progressed, his albums became more ambitious, such as with the 2011 concept album Deeper Into Dream, which was inspired by his love for the vintage psychedelic pop of The Beach Boys and The Zombies.
