Colombian superstar J Balvin is thrilled that he’s able to bring some cheer to his fans during this extraordinary pandemic. “I’m really happy that I dropped the album,” he tells Apple Music. “This is a tough moment that we’re never going to forget. But if you give them some colors, some life, they’re never going to forget that, either.” In the meantime, in the weeks after the release of Colores, he’s been keeping those creative juices flowing while hunkered down at his home in Medellín, Colombia. “It’s time to create,” he says. “I’ve been FaceTiming my producer and talking about ideas. I’m just thinking over and over, what is my new sound? What do I wanna do?
