Angela Hewitt, who plays a Fazioli piano rather than a Steinway, has built a reputation for her transparent, crisp Bach performances. Hewitt is equally spellbinding in Scarlatti and Handel, and has proved herself a leading interpreter of both Mozart and Beethoven.
