Over several decades, Amedeo Minghi has personified the meeting of traditional and modern Italy. His compositions blend authentic sensibilities and powerful orchestras with synths and electronic music, creating symphonic journeys that flow around his distinct, dynamic vocals. While his career started in the 1960s, Minghi’s brief time recording with the band Pandemonium in the mid-1970s brought him both critical and commercial success. From there, his career as a singer-songwriter continued to grow, with hits such as “1950” in 1983 and “Vattene amore”, a euphoric 1990 duet with Mietta.
