Like a space probe absorbing radioactive particles, S U R V I V E's electronic fantasias have soaked up plenty of different influences on their intergalactic path. There's a healthy dose of Genesis' high-drama prog rock in their cascading keys, and their soaring synth epics are deeply indebted to bands like ‘70s drone-rockers Space Art. Closer in the rearview mirror, Steve Hauschildt's shimmering ambient music echoes through their more ethereal output.
