The subdued electronica of Austrian duo HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) is replete with plinking piano bars, liberal dollops of sub-bass and Anna Müller's hushed vocal layers. Since the release of their debut EP in 2012, they've established themselves at the vanguard of minimalist composition: from pulsing, tech-house marvels that pits Müller's sultry monotone against extended instrumental preludes to understated, synth-led odes, HVOB are making subtle, understated waves in the European dance music scene.
