Composer Ankit Menon is again the music supervisor for the sequel to 2024 Malayalam comedy-drama Vaazha. And he’s not the only returnee. Actors including Hashir H. and Ajin Joy are back, as are many musical talents from the first OST. Vaazha 2 maintains the original’s playful vibe while expanding into new territory with its diverse, multi-composer team. Hatsymth, aka Rajat Prakash, rules on “Vanilla Chediye” and singer Sooraj Santhosh leads the atmospheric “Koodappirannor”. Vocalist Maalavika Sundar’s turn on “Thooki” is another highlight. Folk beats, rap, heavy guitar—it’s all here in spades.
