On his EP KANDA, Mocco Genius, seemingly by design, builds on this notion as he attempts to bridge the gap between the older and younger generations through music. The project finds the Tanzanian producer turned singer fashioned as a limitless herald of sorts, emphasizing the necessity of preserving local sounds and culture while exploring diverse genres.
