Rema, the stage name of Divine Ikubor, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Nigeria.
∙ After he saw a video of Rema freestyling over the song “Gucci Gang,” D’Prince signed him to Jonzing World, his Mavin Records label, in 2019.
∙ Rema’s single “Iron Man” was featured in President Barack Obama’s Favorite Music Of 2019 list.
∙ He won Next Rated honors (for best new artist) at the 2019 Headies Awards, Nigeria’s version of the People’s Choice Awards.
