In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Mollie: As a kid I watched Grease at least once a day during summer with my sister. We knew all the lines & dances so we’d switch it up and be a different character every day. It was so weird of us but so fun. Music has always been the best escape.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chappell Roan, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin III (Remastered) Sheryl Crow, Sheryl Crow Orláith: Sheryl Crow - I’m obsessed with this album, opening for her this year was one of my biggest pinch me moments. LedZep III - LZ were everything to me as a teenager. The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess - This album makes my day better
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “So Damn Dangerous” Mollie: I just really like this song and I love when we play the opening lick onstage. It makes me feel sexy.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Orláith: The first day when I went busking with Mollie for a bit of pocket money and to torment the people of Belfast by playing mostly Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits in rotation for 5 hours. Everything since has happened because of that day.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Orláith: So much!! Though, if I say it out loud I fear it won’t happen…. Meet Stevie Nicks?! The rest I shall manifest internally x x
