About Wet Leg
Led by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, Wet Leg bring a refreshing sense of fun and candor to post-punk. On singles such as 2021's Mean Girls-quoting viral hit "Chaise Longue," they turned the style's deadpan irony on its head, pairing scrappy guitars and drums with dryly humorous lyrics. Their 2022 self-titled debut album not only topped the U.K. charts but fared well around the globe, bringing Wet Leg mainstream success that included winning the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. On 2025's Moisturizer, the band paired its spiky wit with more openly confessional songwriting, and once again reached number one on the U.K. charts.
