Pop-rock and humour make the perfect match for Parokya Ni Edgar. The high school friends have been amusing fans with their witty tracks since 1993, when they were known as Comic Relief, but their break came in 1996 with platinum-selling debut Khangkhungkherrnitz. The comedy-rockers have since gone all-in on their wacky brand of music, but it’s a sound worth taking seriously—from the award-winning “Harana” to sharp hits (“Silvertoes”) and jocular parodies (“The Ordertaker”). Parokya Ni Edgar remain dedicated to rejuvenating pop-rock, as long as they're having a laugh doing it.
