About We Are the Ocean
We Are the Ocean are a British five-piece influenced by the post-hardcore sounds of Refused, Hot Water Music, and Rise Against. After forming in 2007, they utilized social networking sites to build a loyal following, which resulted in a nomination for Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang Awards before they had even put out a record. In 2008, they released a self-titled EP and toured before recording their debut album, Cutting Our Teeth. It was released in 2010 through Hassle Records. Their second album, Go Now and Live, was issued in 2011. ~ Jon O'Brien
