About Dignan Porch
Hailing from South London's Tooting neighborhood, Dignan Porch began as the lo-fi psych-pop bedroom musings of Joe Walsh, but soon became a full-fledged band featuring Walsh's guitarist brother Sam, bassist Ben Goodwin, and drummer Philippa Bloomfield. The band's first single caught the attention of Captured Tracks, who discovered Dignan Porch via MySpace and signed them, releasing their debut album, Tendrils in early 2010. For 2011's Deluded EP, the band recorded with Henry Withers and added keyboardist/vocalist/visual artist Hayley Akins and drummer Stephen Keane to the fold, both of whom contributed to the EP's more polished, fleshed-out sound. The band's second full-length, Nothing Bad Will Ever Happen, was recorded live with minimal overdubs and released in August 2012. ~ Heather Phares
