Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, I binged so many America's Got Talent singing videos. Being on a stage, showcasing your talent was my biggest dream. I used to sing a lot in back in my childhood home, and while a musical career seemed far fetched, nothing's too far now.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Asake, Mr. Money With The Vibe SZA, Ctrl (Deluxe) Ycee, The First Wave Ctrl shaped my late teenage years. An awkward black girl trying to find herself and her space. I still listen to it now in my 20s, It genuinely is all about finding ctrl. With afrobeats, love and lyrics are vital to me and these two do just that.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Me” The first song I ever wrote and recorded. It was so amazing how I didnt overthink it, I just wrote, recorded. I was so sure of what I wanted and there began my career.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finding my voice and knowing what I want to do. While the answer reveals itself to me as the days go by, I've never been more sure of myself.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to meet some of my favortie artists and collab with them. Hopefully move out of my city. Make Amarachee a global name.
