About D Jay
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My earliest musical memory was recording my first song, “Bo Norr,” while I was still in high school. Hearing my voice come through the speakers for the first time was exciting and surreal. Looking back, that moment marked the beginning of greatness.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Morning Stress”
I chose “Morning Stress” because it’s a fun reflection of love, relationships, and the little drama that comes with them. It’s playful, honest, and reminds me that sometimes all we really desire is peace and love.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
That would be witnessing “Balance It” become an international sensation. Seeing it connect with people across borders was surreal and reminded me of music’s power to unite people beyond words.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
The goal is to become the global superstar I’m destined to be. The STARMAN sound will reach every corner of the world, inspire lives, represent where I come from, and take Afrobeats to new heights.
