Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I wrote my first song when I was 7. It wasn't very good... But I still remember the chorus.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bon Iver, 22, A Million
Maria Arnal, 45 Cerebros y 1 Corazón
Raül Refree, Rodrigo Cuevas, Manual de Cortejo
These 3 albums really represent the way I think about music and are pretty much exemplary of where I want to go in the future.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Opening for Dorian in front of nearly two-thousand people. Nobody really knew who we were, but afterwards many people came to chat. I was drunk. It was very fun.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Haha! I'd love to do Red Rocks. Or KEXP. Or NPR Tiny Desk. I don't think la Blogothèque are around much, but I'd love to do the Local Natives thing and jump into the Seine, guitar and all.
