Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I recall my music classes. Students learned to sing the classics. Rehearsals were serious; we could get called out for singing off key. My vocal range was broad, so finding my place in that choir setting was not easy and led to occasional anxiety.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Janis Joplin, Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits (Remastered) Sade, Diamond Life Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Ooo Baby Baby: The Anthlogy I love the soothing vocal styles of Smokey and Sade, and like emulating them. The gutsy vocal style of Janis is hard rockin', and her down to earth, folk-like, delivery touches my soul. I get fully engrossed in these master piece albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You” My song ”You” is uplifting and full of energy. Adults and children will love singing along with me and dancing to it. The lyrics are clean and inspirational.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The release of "Something's On Your Mind". After failing to find a guitarist and male vocalist to collaborate with me, I learned to compose music using AI. For much less expense, I got the male singer and music needed for my cover song to go live!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Now that I can compose music using AI, I plan to combine my original lyrics with AI generated music and vocals to develop an EP. I'm hoping the EP will be released within six months. AI is a blessing, as I can no longer afford live studio work.
