Artist Biography
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Classical music on Sunday mornings during breakfast used to create a warm and cozy atmosphere. It's hard to describe, but music played an important role in that feeling. Boiled eggs, tea, and classical music while taking our time to eat as a family. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Auri, II - Those We Don't Speak Of
Evergrey, A Heartless Portrait (The Orphéan Testament)
Halestorm, Vicious
Evergrey's is a jewel of an album with new sound and songwriting. Auri's takes you to new worlds with a range of emotions and soundscapes. Perfect for a night with good wifi and wine. Halestorm's is full of great sound, songs, and rocks. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Fire”
After 20+ years of making albums, it's tough to choose just one, but I'll go with "FIRE". It was my first solo single and kickstarted my solo career, which is forever special to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable moments was when Nightwish called me to join them in the US. I had just 48 hours to learn the setlist and fly to the other side of the planet to join the biggest band in the genre on stage. An experience I'll never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
To maintain this wonderful thing, we have going on with Nightwish for many more years to come on this level. And to play big arena’s with my solo stuff too.
