About Gloryhammer
An epic symphonic power metal unit founded by pirate metal pioneer Christopher Bowes from Scotland's Alestorm, Gloryhammer formed in 2010 around the talents of Bowes, Swiss vocalist Thomas Winkler, guitarist Paul Templing, bass player James Cartwright, and drummer Ben Turk. The band inked a deal with Napalm Records shortly after forming, and released its debut album, a sorcery-filled concept album concerning an alternate-history medieval Scotland called Tales from the Kingdom of Fife, in 2013. Two years later, Gloryhammer issued their second studio long-player, a sequel called Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, which added sci-fi elements to the already fantastic tale. ~ James Christopher Monger
