In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in the early 2000s' in south Texas, I had a lot of exposure to a variety of musical movements. For certain, some of my favorite memories are of this time when the Houston sound oozed into all corners of the state, both metal and hip hop.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nirvana, In Utero 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition I was always in love with music, writing, and the art of poetry. Kurt Cobain's style of songwriting made me realize how simplistic it can be to convey a message that is the opposite of that. And obviously, the album is a table flip of the previous.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Inthetrees” Although it was recorded on an HP laptop using the built in microphone, this song still stands as one of my favorites. The same can be said for the whole EP, but the lines in this song came from a place of inescapable grief, and improved my pen.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to say that I have a song up on major streaming platforms, which is a simple brag. Despite that fact the moment I hit upload and was able to find my own work on Apple Music it felt like the undergoing of a right of passage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The bucket list is a long one. I am only just getting started and am going on my third year of making music. All of the improvements i've made in my journey inch me closer to my main goal in all of this: to have a true base and to perform many shows.
