About Kah Jun
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is singing along to songs on TV, imagining the living room as my own little stage. I didn’t know where music would take me then—I only knew how much I loved to sing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“三个字 I Love You”
“三个字” feels like a conversation with my younger self. So much has changed since I wrote it, but when I hear it today, I still recognise the same person—the one who simply loved music and had something he wanted to say.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Performing as a guest at Michael Wong’s concert in Hong Kong is a memory I’ll always treasure. Being on that stage, away from home, was exciting and a little surreal. It was one of those moments that reminded me how far music could take me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
To have a concert of my own—a room filled with people who came because the songs mean something to them. It doesn’t have to be the biggest stage. I’d just love to hear those songs being sung back to me one day
