Lil Donald—born Donald Brooks—is an Atlanta-based rapper and producer who launched into the mainstream following his ongoing success in hometown rap competitions.
∙ Naming Eminem as an influence, Lil Donald kick-started his career through Atlanta’s battle rap competitions in the early 2010s.
∙ His breakout single, “Juice,” found success through the club party scene and was featured on his 2015 mixtape, Falling Apart, which was helmed by Grammy-winning producer Zaytoven.
∙ Remaining on the list for 10 consecutive weeks, Lil Donald’s 2018 Gold-certified single “Do Better” peaked at No. 24 on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
