Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The band did not exist when we discovered the Old Corpse Road. At the time The Dreamer recognised it as a great name for a band. Nobody else did until we researched the name and realised its folkloric origins and potential for guiding our music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bal-Sagoth, Battle Magic
Cradle of Filth, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh
Hecate Enthroned, Upon Promeathean Shores (Unscriptured Waters)
These albums were all chosen for their unique British approach to song writing and musicianship. UK black metal bands all have a distinct style, rooted in Iron Maiden, grindcore and British eccentricity.

“Peg Powler”
This song is based on a local legend connected to the River Tees which connects all of our local haunts. The story was regularly told to The Dreamer by his father as a child and is about Peg Powler , a river‑hag said to haunt the River Tees
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Being signed to Godreah records was pivotal in the band realising we were delivering something of worth. To be recognised by a label that we grew up supporting was both humbling and very exciting in our early days.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We were never aiming to break any musical barriers, nor do we seek fame or infamy; we only seek to give back to the scene that has given so much to us. So as long as the scene enjoys what we have delivered then we are satisfied
