In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 3 years old and my older cousin, was playing Rid Wit Me by Nelly on a cassette that he had. He taught me the lyrics to that song and I rapped the whole thing in full. Whenever that song comes on now I instantly get taken back to my childhood.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAY-Z, Reasonable Doubt Nelly, Country Grammar USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) This is the music that inspires me. Despite being someone who predominately raps more, RnB is what inspired me to create music in the first place. And ofcourse I had to put in Reasonable Doubt, It genuinely has no skips.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “So Ambitious (feat. UTK)” I wrote this song during the first lockdown whilst I was in Sydey and my team was in LA. This one will always be special because it showed me that music is truly global and can be done anywhere at anytime if the energy is on point.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far probably working and building a team in Los Angeles. Being from Sydney, this was pretty crazy and whole process came together. Crazy to think I now to have a whole family across the Pacific.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We Just Gettin Started..... A whole lot more to come.
