A pop-punk outfit formed in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2014 by Andrés González, Daniel Carrillo, Pako Aldama y Fabián Aceves, all were members of cover bands, until they joined forces to create their own material inspired by the groups they listened to as teenagers, such as blink-182, Simple Plan, Panda, and Magnolia y Los No Me Olvides. Representatives of the thirty-something generation, equal parts nostalgia and optimism, Say Ocean left no doubt about their mission with the title of their first EP: Como si Fuera 2005, released in 2016. One year later, they issued their full-length debut Mejores Tiempos.
