Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was seeing Cyndi Lauper on MTV. The fact that she was so eccentric made me fall in love with her as an artist. She made me want to be the most authentic version of myself when I finally put myself out there.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “This Is My Life” With all the anti-LGBTQ+ political rhetoric and hypocrisy in the media right now, I wanted to create an anthem about never letting anyone dull your shine. We only get to do this thing called “life” once, so why not celebrate, love, and dance?
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing one my music videos on MTV was mind blowing. As an indie artist on my own label, it was really one of those moments where you are so overwhelmed that you aren’t sure if you’re awake or dreaming. I was like “is this REALLY happening???”
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’ve really done a lot of the things I ever set out to do for myself, but I’d love to start writing for other artists that I admire. It would be incredible to hear another artist singing one of my songs.
