About Charlotte Wessels
Charlotte Wessels, a versatile powerhouse vocalist, is a Dutch singer and songwriter who is best known as the former lead vocalist of the symphonic metal band Delain, a role she held from 2005 until 2021. Her musical journey took a new turn with the release of her debut solo effort, Tales from Six Feet Under, in 2021. This wide-ranging set explored various genres, from indie pop and synth rock to the grandeur of goth metal, a style reminiscent of her work with Delain and symphonic rockers Phantasma -- the like-minded Tales from Six Feet Under, Vol. 2 arrived the following year. In 2024, she unveiled The Obsession, a dark and metallic collection of songs featuring former Delain bandmates.
